THE EDGE MAGAZINEDesigned two editorial layouts for The Edge, a student-run lifestyle magazine based in Elon, NC. Created print spreads that aligned with each article’s tone and imagery while maintaining the publication’s overall visual style and storytelling approach.
#1 Developed a bold, high-contrast design featuring a stark background, oversized imagery, and bright, expressive typography to immediately capture attention. Select words were highlighted in pink cursive to emphasize key themes and guide readers through the page.
#2 Designed a scrapbook-inspired spread with layered textures, vintage-style photography, and handwritten red typography to create a nostalgic, personal feel, evoking the look of a well-worn desk filled with keepsakes and memories.
